Made using low-impact materials such as post-consumer plastics and recycled cotton.  Shipped to you in eco-conscious packaging.   With your support, Awoo is able to move closer to its goal of becoming carbon neutral and delivering 100% sustainable products.   We are a small, female-run company with a big mission to bring to your pups stylish yet practical items to enjoy their 4-legged life.    Awoo has partnered with Muddy Paws Rescue, an organization dedicated to rehoming dogs through foster-based adoption. Par of the profits will be donated to the organization. 

Ingredients/Materials

Woven with cotton and recycled yarns. Most of the recycled cotton is made from the scraps of cotton produced by sewing plants worldwide. This type of cotton is also known as post-industrial recycled cotton.

Care

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low.

End-of-Life

 Blankets can be put in material recycling.

Sustainable Benefits

Cotton is very water-intensive. It takes around 710 gallons (2,700 liters) of water to grow enough cotton to manufacture a single T-shirt; recycled cotton, on the other hand, is sourced from already existent cotton, which means that it helps keep waste down and has a minimal impact on the environment.
